The goal of A Heart Connection is for us to genuinely and authentically feel connected to ourselves, to our Life Coach and to others.

WHAT IS A LIFE COACH?        A LIFE COACH . . .

  1. Listens to you beyond who you know yourself to be. 
  2. Helps you to get clear on what you really want.
  3. Reflects back like a mirror, so you can actually see your blind spots.
  4. Amplifies the “controlling” voices in your head so you can distinguish them as a separate “force”.
  5. Provides the discipline and practices necessary for you to retrain your “inner” muscles.
  6. Allows you to see what you do to sabotage your own happiness.
  7. Encourages you to get out of your box and see Your Life as an adventure
  8. Empowers you to start listening to your self – beyond who you know yourself to be.
     


As each individual has different needs, a variety of coaching techniques are available (as listed below) according to which suit you best.  (Group sessions will contain a number of different techniques within a preplanned curriculum.)

Empathic Listening

This techniques has your coach being a deep empathic listener creating an open space for you to talk and to hear your own inner voice with love and compassion.  At deeper levels you can tap into your own inner wisdom.

Getting Clarity in the Ocean of Emotions

This perspective trains you to see how emotions are our friends and act as indicators of where to pay attention.  Here you get to name, claim and tame your trigger points in life.  Some homework is suggested.  (This process is recommended for all).

Self-Discovery

When you have some clarity about what triggers you, you may want to look further into your inner "voice in the mind'.  This process involves learning to "sit with' and observe your mind and then speak from your heart.  This process involves keeping a journal and some homework.

Meditation Practices

This takes the Self-Discovery approach one step further to improve your spiritual meditation.  Have The Divine become alive and real by learning the art of "being present"  Working with intentionality, prayer and acknowledgement.  Keeping a meditation notebook is important.

The Art of Completion

How can we move forward when life seems to be moving and shifting faster than we expected.  This process has us powerfully completing the old and beginning with a fresh clean space to create something new. (p.s. yes forgiveness and letting go will be encouraged).

Self-Challenging

This techniques provides an access for you to identify what stops you in life.  It involves challenging yourself to go and grow beyond who you know yourself to be now.
